DR. FESSY LOUIS.T
Dr Fessy Louis T hails from Thalakottoor family, Thoyakkavu of Thrissur district. He is the second son of Dr.T.R Louis and Mrs Rosily Louis. He did his schooling at Bethany St: Johns English medium school at Kunnamkulam where he spent most of his childhood. After completing his schooling he joined the prestigious St: Thomas College Thrissur. In 1987 he joined the government medical college Thrissur for medicine. He did his post-graduation from Kasturba medical college Manipal and government medical college Kottayam. He has an elder brother Dr. Francy Louis is working as Professor in Medicine department at Jubilee Mission Medical College Thrissur. Dr.Fessy is married to Mrs. Roshin, daughter of Mr.John Chalissery and Mrs Elsy John, Trichur. He is blessed with two sons Ronald and Jerald. Ronald finished his MBBS from Amrita Institute of Medical sciences and Jerald has joined for medicine at Sree Narayana Institute of Medical sciences Majaly Alwaye. He is now settled at Edappally, Kochi.
After completing DNB from Kottayam Medical College started career as a junior consultant in Jubilee Mission Hospital Thrissur and then as senior lecturer in Government Medical College, Thrissur. The interest in Infertility and laparoscopy that gained from Manipal University led the path to join CIMAR, Edappal hospitals at Edappal in 2002. He got his DPS (Laparoscopy) from Germany. He served as IVF co-ordinator and Laparoscopic surgeon at Edappal and was a visiting consultant at Elite Hospital Thrissur, Sanjoe Hospital Perumbavoor, Vamsam Infertility Centre Coimbatore and D.S.Hospital, Palani. With the opening of CIMAR branch at Kochi in 2010 joined as the senior IVF specialist there. He was working as Senior Consultant in Infertility & Laparoscopy surgeon in CIMAR for 13 years. He joined the department of Reproductive medicine AIMS Amrita Institute of medical sciences as faculty, when MCH in reproductive medicine and surgery was started for the first time in the state and third in India. Now he is Associate Professor and Senior consultant ai Amrita Fertility centre, AIMS Kochi.
